Indian society for technical education (ISTE) is a national level nonprofitable society which was started in the year 1941 as Association of Principals of Technical Instistutions (APTI). |

In 1968, it was converted to ISTE. |

The Primary goal of the ISTE is to offer high-quality training programs for teachers in technical institutions enabling them to enhance thier knowledge and skills within thier respective areas. |
